Sofi Lambert is an award-winning actress originally from Quebec City, Canada. Attracted by stage performance from a young age she took acting seriously to the next level in high school. Her passion pushed her to Montreal where she studied with Danielle Fichaud and Jean-Pierre Bergeron. Her mentor Jacques Drolet encouraged her to push her limit and she then discovered Meisner Technique with Jacqueline McClintock (Neighborhood Playhouse). To perfect this technique she studied in London and New York with Jack Waltzer (Actor Studio). Now based in New York for many years Sofi refined her art at HB Studio with Austin Pendleton and more recently with Heidi Marshall. Sofi’s New York theater credits include: Porcupine, Cheap Hugs, Waiting for Goddreau preceded by Shut Up Kathleen, Encounters, La Dame aux camélias (performed in French), I F*ck Mariah. At her first participation to Fringe NYC Sofi won Best Solo Performance for her performance in The List, this success pushed the production to Mexico. In Montreal, Sofi performed in French lead roles in: Autour de ma pierre il ne fera pas nuit, L’hiver de Force, Elsemeurt, Les 4 morts de Marie, Maudit BBQ. and in television for: Destinée, Le Bye Bye de RBO and Toute la vérite. Sofi's voice can often be heard in the United States and in Canada in both French and English as she gives her voice to multiple voice over projects.
