Sofi Lambert is an award-winning actress originally from Quebec City, Canada, based in NYC. Sofi’s theatre work includes: Nannerl Mozart in Sylvia Milo’s solo play, The Other Mozart (Off-Broadway at the Players Theatre in NYC; Hammer Theatre in San Jose, CA; The Alberta Bair Theater in Billings MT; Ware Center in Lancaster, PA; in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Saul Ste-Marie in Ontario Canada), Beatrice in John and Beatrice by Carole Frechette (The Theater for the New City), Encounters (Center Stage, directed by Constance Fichet), Porcupine (Actors Fund Arts Center, directed by Sarah Bernhardt Prize recipient Leta Tremblay), La Dame aux camélias (ArcLight Theater, directed by Gerard Cherqui), IF Mariah (The Flamboyant Theater, directed by John Doyle of Girl Walk), as well as numerous performances in Montreal at Fred Barry and Monument National. Winner of the Best Solo Performance at the New York International Fringe Festival for The List, (written by Jennifer Tremblay directed by Katie Mchugh) the play was Time Out New York’s Critic’s Pick. Sofi worked with Montreal’s playwright Sebastien David (Quat’sous, Comédie-Française à Paris) on the translation and adaptation of his two award-winning plays, Goddreau and Kathleen (directed by Katie Mchugh), starring in the productions in NYC and in San Miguel, Mexico.
